Scholarships

Listed are scholarships that are available to Cedar Vale Students. Please note the due date. These scholarships are awarded by the business not the school. Students are encouraged to apply directly to the businesses for consideration.

Four County Mental Health Center
$250 Scholarship
Due Date-April 2

Preference will be given to applicants majoring in the mental health field.

Sudents will Need:
1. 3 letters of reference
2. Brief essay stating how this scholarship would
help you meet your educational goals.
3. Grade Point Average

 

Caney Valley Electric Cooperative
$600 Scholarship, $300/per semester
Eligibility:
1. Caney Valley Electric must serve residence.
2. One letter of reference
3. Awarded deetermined on: Leader ship activities, Grade Point Average, and SAT/ACT scores.
4. Interview may be required
5. Recipients will be notified by April 20th and will be required to the Caney Valley's Annual Meeting the first Tuesday in May to receive the scholarship.

Local Scholarships. Awarding of these scholarships will be by a Scholarship Committee, the local family or business. Dates for application have not been determinded at this time.

5. Chad Odette Memorial Scholarship-$1000
6. Cleo Wallace Memorial Scholarship-$250
7. Wal Mart Scholarship-$1000
8. Donna White Memorial Scholarship-Four at $250. each
9. Althea Meldrum Scholarship-$1000
10. Earl F. and Effie M. Foster Scholarship-$500
11. Cedar Vale Booster Club Scholarship-2006-2007 school year-3 at $250. each were awarded.
12. Rachel Fulsom Memorial Scholarship- $600
13. Robert Radcliff Memorial Scholarship-Two at $2500
14. Betty Travis Memorial Scholarship-Two at $1000
15. 4-H Scholarship.
