The SCBL Music Festival on March 27th is quickly approaching! This is a reminder that all 6th and 7th grade band students need to wear all-black dress attire for the performance. Our band will perform at 9:35 AM in the auditorium at the Brown Center, Cowley College. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend! Lunch will be at McDonald’s before solo performances begin at 1:08 PM. Parents are also invited to attend the solo performances. All non-soloists will return to CVS for afternoon classes. We look forward to a great day of music!

4th Grade Social Studies State Assessment this year focused on researching a Famous Kansan. Students created a poster with important facts and their Kansan's impact on others. Then they got to create their person using a potato which was a lot of fun! They all did great!

Cedar Vale Sophomores and 8th graders have had a great day at Greenbush! We started the day with Career Chats, followed by Reality U, a program designed to help high school students understand the financial realities of adult life. Through interactive simulations, students are assigned a life scenario—including a career, income, and family situation and must navigate budgeting for expenses such as housing, transportation, and childcare. This hands-on experience aims to teach students the importance of financial planning and the impact of educational and career choices on their future financial stability. #cedarvale #purplecrush #RealityU
