STUCO Update: Jennings Family Support
The Cedar Vale Student Council and the Jennings family want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our school, community, and surrounding areas for the incredible support and donations for the Jennings family.
The family currently has the clothing items they need at this time, so we are no longer accepting clothing donations. However, they could still greatly benefit from gift card donations to local restaurants and businesses, as well as monetary donations to help meet other needs.
The family will also be working on their housing situation, and as additional needs arise, we will continue to keep you updated.
Thank you for your continued generosity and care for the Jennings family during this time. Words are not enough to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for all that you have done and continue to do.

CVD Cheer brining the SPIRIT!
The Lady Spartans fell short against a very good team 36 to 39. They will play for 3rd on Saturday, December 14th at 4 pm at Copan. Good Luck Ladies!!
The phrase defense wins games was proven correct Thursday against Copan. The boys win 39 to 27 to move on to the Championship game on Saturday, December 14th at Copan.

The middle school finished up their Christmas tree and candy machine. Next semester they will build a nightstand. "Fun group to teach," said Mr. Kuntz

Saturday Copan tournament schedule-- girls play at 4 pm and boys play at 8:30 in the championship game.
All middle school teams played with a lot of hustle and heart tonight, but fell short in their games. They will be in action again on Monday in Sedan.
Update on Support Needs for the Jennings Family
We will continue to work on gathering exact sizes, but at this time, the family has identified the following immediate needs:
• Women’s shoe sizes: 7, 8, 9
• Women’s size 3 jeans
The family and our STUCO are deeply grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of kindness and support from everyone. Your generosity makes a significant difference!
The last week of the semester is 12/16-12/19. Elementary afterschool tutoring will be held Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday 12/18 no after school. The Christmas Program is Wed., students report at 6:15 pm and will sit with their class. Mon Christmas Sweater, Tues Grinch Green, Wed Christmas accessory & Thurs is Polar Express Christmas PJ Day & Class Christmas as scheduled with parents and teachers.

STUCO Donation Drive for the Jennings Family
Our thoughts are with the Jennings family during this difficult time. To support them, STUCO is organizing a donation drive, and we are asking for your help.
If you are able, please bring donations to sponsors Mrs. Ross or Mr. Shockley.
Items currently needed include:
Clothing:
• Women’s shirts: Small, Medium, 2XL
• Women’s pants: Medium and Large
• Women’s shoes: Sizes 7, 8, and 8 1/2
Toiletries and hygiene items:
• Shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine products, and other essentials
We will share updates as we learn more about their needs. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Thank you for coming together to support the Jennings family during this challenging time.
