Eighth grade had an excellent time creating a physical model of the phases of the moon. The colored flashlights made it look extra cool!

By observing how the shadows changed, we could see how the "moon" reflected the light.
We were able to model the entire cycle!
The person holding the "moon" could see how the shadows landed to make crescents and half moons.
CHANGE of PLAN--There will be no JV girls game tonight, January 10 at Cedar Vale vs. Caldwell. Game time for the JV boys will be 5:00 pm. Come support the Spartans.

Our local 4th-8th grade spelling bee will be Wednesday, Jan 11 at 1pm, Gym. All 4-8 grade students will participate to determine their class representatives for the Chautauqua County Spelling Bee held on February 8 at Sedan 1pm.

Kindergartens Great Gingerbread Exchange! We made 30 Gingerbread Friends and mailed them across the country! In return, we received back over 25 Gingerbread friends! We loved learning about different kindergarten classrooms from California to Florida & everywhere in between!! ❤️💚 Kindergarten & First Grades Holidays Around the World! We “visited” 10 different countries and learned how they celebrate Christmas, what kinds of food they enjoy, and made a craft to represent each one! 🎄🌎
