Kindergarten & First Grade use an online program, called Epic, to read & listen to books to help build their fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. At the beginning of the year, they set a goal to read 2,000 books as a group & last week they met that goal!! So today we celebrated with an ice cream party!! 📚 🎉 🍦

Thursday May 25 is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL 2022-2023
MS/HS Finals – Students required to complete finals must remain in the class for the complete hour. Students must take the final in the hour required, unless arrangements have been made with the teacher and approved by Mrs. Burdette. Failure to complete required finals results in a zero and recorded within semester final grades. MS/HS Students are not to be in the elementary unless they have prior approval. If an IDL final is in place students are to report to Mrs. McCall. No CCCC classes and students are not required to attend that hour. Mrs. Burdette will review check out sheets and final schedules on Wednesday with all 6th-11th grade students.

Senior Remington Dennis played his final concert 🎶 with the CVS Band this evening. Remington has been an outstanding band student, always worked hard, and been wiling to help in many ways a member of the band. He has also represented Cedar Vale at the Lions State Band for the last two years! Way to go Remington!
