Senior student aid Remington Dennis is getting some real life experience leading the K-1 music students through their music lesson today! Students are learning how melodic contour makes music move up, down, or stay the same!

There will be no Friday Shop Class on March 3rd.
CONGRATULATIONS to the HS Spartan Basketball boys for being SCBL Co-Champions. They ended their season with a record of 17 - 4. They would like to thank everyone that has supported them throughout this season. Spartan Nation!

A number of schools have received "swatting" calls that would indicate safety concerns. I want to reassure our patrons that we HAVE NOT received "swatting" calls and have been in contact with our county and local law enforcement agencies. these students have been learning about his pioneers traveling across The mountains into the plains. These students learned the importance of packing the essential items to survive. They learned that trade was an important part of their survival into the plains and into the west. They also learned about the types of homes people built in KS due to the lack of materials during that time period. Students learned the importance of Leavenworth KS and how it was the first town in KS and how it played a roll in the creation of our state capital. Students also learned about the first settlers in Topeka and the first business in Topeka was Pappan's ferry. pic 1 of 4 .
