Cedar Vale Schools is beyond grateful and proud of the work of our dedicated Board of Education, Thank You President James Rainbolt, Vice President Cassie Crocker, Randi Jo Ferguson, Katy Rock, Joel Haden ll, Steve Warburton and Denton Holt. Thank you for your service to our school and community!
Elementary After School Program will have second semester signup forms sent home Monday and due Thursday 2/9. The program will begin Monday January 13. Times and days will remain the same. More details will be included with the form. Great opportunity for extended learning, stem and homework time.
Happy New Year Cedar Vale Schools! Our dedicated team worked together to prepare for our second semester which will begin on Monday January 6, 2025. Our KESA 2.0 action plan was approved by KSDE and we began working on our goal of standard alignment. Check our website and App for our calendar, menu and more. We are looking forward to seeing you Monday!

• Jan 2: 2:30-4:00 at CV
• Jan 3: 10:00-11:30 at CV
• Jan 4: 2:30-4:00 at Dexter
Game vs Flinthills @ Dexter Jan 6.
Note: The Saturday, Jan 4 practice replaces the originally scheduled Sunday practice due to potential winter weather.

Jennings Family Support Update:
The family currently has the clothing items they need at this time. However, they could still greatly benefit from gift card donations to local restaurants and businesses, as well as monetary donations to help meet other needs.
The family is still working on their housing situation, and as additional needs arise, we will continue to keep you updated.
We also have some good news in regard to the upcoming holiday, stay tuned for more details!
If you have donations for the family, please contact Mrs. Chellbe Ross or Mr. Chris Shockley to facilitate something.

Fifth grade partied all day yesterday, and their teacher only stopped to take a few pictures! Here they are though!
Kindergarten had a great week!!! Our favorite part was today when we received our book, stuffed animal, and blanket gift. We had several people sponsor a child to be able to purchase the book/stuffy and with the leftover donations each child also got a blanket. Thanks to all who donated!! ❤️🎄

Kindergarten has spent the month of December learning all about Holidays Around the World! From fireworks on the beach in Brazil, Advent calendars in Germany, decorating banana tree in India, Hanukkah, and all the other traditions in between we've learned that everyone celebrates the holidays differently! We also made a craft with each country and how to be respectful of all traditions.❤️🎄🎅🏼
It's finally here, our annual Christmas Program is tonight! The show begins at 6:30pm with a visit by Santa directly after! Reminder: there will be no elementary after school this afternoon. Merry Christmas!

STUCO Update: Jennings Family Support
The Cedar Vale Student Council and the Jennings family want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our school, community, and surrounding areas for the incredible support and donations for the Jennings family.
The family currently has the clothing items they need at this time, so we are no longer accepting clothing donations. However, they could still greatly benefit from gift card donations to local restaurants and businesses, as well as monetary donations to help meet other needs.
The family will also be working on their housing situation, and as additional needs arise, we will continue to keep you updated.
