INTERVIEW: What year did you begin school at CVS? Gabby: kindergarten What are your next steps? Gabby: I am going to Cowley College to become a welder Who is someone special that you would like to give a shoutout to? Gabby: My mom, she’s dealt with me for all past years What is your favorite school memory? Gabby: Snow Days What are you most excited for next? Gabby: Hopefully college will be fun and I like it and meet new people What does success mean to you? Gabby: Knowing you can do something without someone having to nag you to do it, knowing you should finish something before starting something else What advice would you give to those entering high school? Gabby: Be yourself, open up to new things. Don’t think it is a wrong answer, just ask it. How strict would you say that your parents were during high school? Gabby: Not really strict, mom just wanted me to be at school. Who Was Your Favorite Teacher? Gabby: Mrs. Hahner, she knows me a lot and knows how to deal with me. Riley: I am going to work on my tattoo apprenticeship Who is someone special that you would like to give a shoutout to? What are you most excited for next? Riley: Living on my own What does success mean to you? Riley: Success is being at peace financially, mentally and physically. Kailee: preschool What are your next steps? Kailee: I am going to attend Southwestern on a track scholarship and major in nursing. Who is someone special that you would like to give a shoutout to? Kailee: McKinley, for always being there for me as a best friend and a sister even if we are not blood related. What is your favorite school memory? Kailee: Making it to state in track. What are you most excited for next? Kailee: Um, to make more friends in college. What does success mean to you? Kailee: Setting a goal and achieving the goal, even if it is a small goal What advice would you give to those entering high school? Kailee: Start off strong because in the end it reflects upon you. Who is someone special that you would like to give a shoutout to? Keirsten: I would say the whole school, the whole school really helped me when everything went down. What is your favorite school memory? Keirsten: Freshman year in gym class with my crazy friends, it was so much fun. What are you most excited for next? Keirsten: I am scared, not excited. What does success mean to you? Keirsten: Achieving your goals and achieving greatness, setting an example for the next person in your life. What advice would you give to those entering high school? Keirsten: Life can get hard sometimes but you have to keep going. How strict would you say that your parents were during high school? Keirsten: scary strict Who Was Your Favorite Teacher? Hailee: Diericks Family for always being there for me when I needed it the most and making me feel like a daughter to them. What is your favorite school memory? Hailee: My senior trip when Chase and I were arguing about how cucumbers and pickles are not the same thing and everyone else disagreed with me. What are you most excited for next? Hailee: I am actually really excited about starting cheer in college What does success mean to you? Hailee: Success means to me that you are never giving up, no matter what you try your hardest, never give up. What advice would you give to those entering high school? Hailee: Stop worrying about the drama, worry about yourself, don’t get caught up in it as it will reflect on you when you are older. How strict would you say that your parents were during high school? Hailee: Um, pretty strict because they’ve always wanted us to not be slackers and to go to college. Who Was Your Favorite Teacher? Hailee: I think Mr. Harber because he always makes learning fun, like with grammar he will add jokes and memes, he just tries to make it fun. What Was Your Favorite Toy Growing Up? Hailee: Oh, Hatchimals What is the best advice you’ve gotten? Hailee: As long as I am trying and giving it my hardest it doesn’t matter, Mrs. Hahner would always tell me that.
