Due to a shortened JV game, tonight's varsity basketball games at Dexter might run a little ahead of schedule. Thank you

At Cedar Vale Schools the path to success begins with each students’ individual plan of study. For 2024 graduate Brylee Myers, this began during her junior year of high school as she made plans to attend the Cosmetology Vocational Program at Cowley County Community College. This is just one of several vocational opportunities with Cedar Vale Schools dual credit agreement with Cowley County Community College. Brylee completed the first aspect of the dual credit program under the Director of Cosmetology, Cedar Vale past-resident and business owner, Delayne Dale. Brylee returned to Cowley County Community College in the fall of 2024 to complete her certification. Brylee is pictured receiving her second installment of The Lemert Brothers Trust Scholarship. This scholarship is provided annually by Abner B. Lemert, Lemert Ranch Trust of Arkansas City. Through their continued generosity we are able to provide financial assistance to graduating Cedar Vale Schools students who are pursuing post secondary education. Each qualified applicant must meet the requirements as stated in the scholarship award; be a full-time student with a minimum of 12 hours, provide proof of enrollment by the third week of September, provide an official first semester transcript in December and must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher demonstrated on their official transcript. We are so grateful for the Lemert Brothers Trust Scholarship. Congratulations Brylee!
Our dual credit opportunity and individual plans of study are working for current students as well. Ayden Robertson completed construction courses and is currently in dual credit college courses as well as Aiden Campbell, Carlie Bliss, Katie Crocker and Decker Mitchell. Bella Zachary is pursuing her CNA as Coy Anderton, Klaiton Stout and Levi Zachary continue to pursue their certifications with CCCC. Cedar Vale Schools has a long standing history of supporting all learners. Vo Tech and dual courses provide a great first step for our students.

🌻 CV Elementary, don't forget we celebrate Kansas Day tomorrow!!🌻 1️⃣6️⃣4️⃣ Dress in your favorite Kansas Team attire!! 💛💛
