A HUGE thank you to our presenters today, Chelsea Hofmeier and Kim Jones from Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Our students learned about water safety, what do to if someone is struggling in the water (Reach, Throw, Row, Go!), and how to check if a life jacket fits properly. We also learned about camping safety, to be aware of what types of wild animals and insects are around campgrounds and in our area. We also learned about campfire safety and how to stay safe around campfires. Thank you so much for taking time to come teach our students about water and fire safety!
