Mrs. Ross had the cutest little visitor in class today!! Between the heat advisory and the possible crickets, it's no wonder he made his way inside! Don't worry... we gave him some water and then released him back outside!

This weekend! FREE ADMISSION to the Frontiers in Flight air show at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita. Flying begins at noon and ends with the United States Navy Blue Angels. Last spring our flight interest group students got a behind the scenes look at the Blue Angels in IMAX! This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of civilian and military aircraft.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade have had a great start to our school year in Mrs. Shockley's classroom! Kindergarten is learning the routines and expectations while first grade has jumped right back into working on our reading skills! ❤️📚
Fall Sports are up and running. We have seventeen athletes out for the middle school football team. Great to get started!
It's been an exciting first week for 6th and 7th grade band. Finally through the process of creating their online portfolios and today the 7th grade demonstrated their instruments to the 6th graders before instrument selection the next few weeks. Some fine young leaders! Can't wait to see how much we accomplish this year!
It's been a great first week in 7th grade!! Mrs. Ross invested in some new educational games, so we have slowly been learning how to play them!
