Spartan middle school boys fought hard through adversity of having a short bench. The boys stepped up and played hard but came up short. Falling 43-27 vs Flinthills.
Elementary students cheered on the junior high basketball players at the girls and boys C games! Thanks to the cheerleaders for pepping us up between games! We may have some future basketball players and cheerleaders in the stands! 🏀❤️🎉
The last Spartan Middle School Basketball home game of the year is in Cedar Vale tomorrow night! Come out and fill the stands! HS girls will also be in action at Cowley for the SCBL tournament!
Cedar Vale Schools held the local 4th-8th Grade Spelling Bee Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Our Spelling Champion is eighth grader, Wyatt Barney and Runner-up is sixth grader, Emmett Barney. SCBL HS Basketball Tournament will start Saturday, January 13th with the play-in games. The Lady Spartans are entering the tournament as the number 3 seed and will play Sedan on Monday, January 15th at Dexter. The Spartans are number 5 seed and will play West Elk at West Elk on Tuesday, January 16th.
The 6th and 7th grade students will begin their fundraiser tomorrow through the end of January. They will be selling a variety of the World's Finest Chocolate Bars for $1 each. You can choose from milk chocolate, almond, W.F. Crisp, caramel, dark chocolate, and wafer. If you are interested in purchasing a chocolate bar for only a dollar, please find a 6th or 7th grade student. You can also contact Mrs. Ross.
